Fine Law Establishes Guardrails for Carbon Capture Industry
Due to our unique geology, Illinois has attracted interest from industry to pursue carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) projects. In response to this growing industry, State Senator Laura Fine passed legislation to ensure these projects meet some of the strongest environmental protections in the nation.
Senate Bill 1289 sets environmental safety requirements at each stage in the carbon capture process-at the capture facility, via pipelines, and at sequestration sites. First, the law ensures that Illinois remains a leader on climate progress by requiring that carbon capture companies not increase dangerous air pollution and will be required to demonstrate a net reduction in climate pollut...

Thank you
The Dem party has turned myself, a non partisan, into an anti Dem party citizen. The blatant subversion of the constitution has to stop
To bad most 1st time offenders who get probation do not compete without issues. So when revoked they are now stuck in the system. Probation is made for you to go back to jail even more with 1st time offenders. 😊
"SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED." We need to rewrite the 16th amendment. This is absolutely insane.
If this is for possession of MJ, I agree. If this is for possession of firearms, it shouldn't be a damned felony to begin with. State government doesn't have the powers to take away rights granted to citizens in the Constitution / Amendments.
ONLY if, you can guarantee that the system will properly keep track of them, so that they do not get to offend multiple times, and count them ALL as their first time. Too many Soros backed DA to give regular, honest citizens any confidence.
This guy is a joke
🧠🍄✨❤️🙏🏼
It's pretty sad that she supports child molesters.
Thank you Sen Peters, Rep Hernandez & all lawmakers trying to protect children. Boo! to lawmaker Ugaste & the rest who agree with him.
True legends in their own minds !! 🫡🐷
Lol only democrats would reward bad behaviour like this.
Anyone who is 'anti-crime' should support these programs. Stopping crime before it happens is as easy as giving young people an alternative to gang life. These programs do just that.
Private schools need to be regulated like any other school. These are kids childhoods, they don’t get a do over
No cutass fr bullying
Why dont you worry about making public schools more desirable, and not conplete cesspools?
Their version of that is flooding it with funding rather than actually holding the ones running it accountable. We need to cut spending for schools that aren't working. and loosen restrictions on alternatives.
@@yuyu_omni3705 the money should follow the child, not the school, in my opinion. parents beign involved in kids education has always been the overwhelmingly best thing for the kid. Mines in a charter school. when the parents are involved, and send them to private school, charter schools, or engage in public schools, the kids are less likely to need punishment. parental efforts result in results!
Do both
@@yuyu_omni3705the schools aren’t working because they lack funding
Curious then if you're the same person who complains about 'out of control government spending' when they do try and put money towards pubic schools.
Andy says he wants to use state violence to enforce their view of raising children on any citizen regardless of their will or philosophy.
Smart move 🎉🎉🎉

These democRats pretending that they are saving the planet are actually polluting it more!
44 million dollars, tons of concrete, copper wires, plastic and metal using power from the grid to charge cars that have a higher carbon footprint to produce than an ice car, even factoring in 10000 miles for the ice car. You dont need to tell us you are a Democrat. Your lack of logic screams it.
A 😮😮😢😮😮😢 bad & nasty😮😢😢😮😮😢. retired director from General Dynamics, previously worked in San Diego, probably more than 85 yrs old now, is abusing US Gov's monitoring satellite to harass normal US civilians, inside USA & all over the world for his own entertainment & amusement. These remote sensors of the monitoring satellites are capable of interpreting the words you're thinking in your mind, may be, by air vibration or by scanning the brainwaves from your brain. The Israeli IDF are using similar satellite technologies to spy on the Hamas leadership hiding deep inside the Gaza Tunnels. IDF once released footage of these videos in much degraded resolution. This could also have been the way how our intelligence services obtained classified information on Xi Jinping's missile deployment within China. This retired General Dynamics director could have been the mastermind behind the plane crash killing the Secretary of Commerce Ronald Brown of the Clinton Administration, in the plane crash in 1996 in Croatia. The United States as we learned and studied in American high school does not exist anymore; it has been destroyed. United States have been dead. American citizens don't have human rights. This retired Director of General Dynamics is indeed a national disgrace of the United States. If this America disgrace wants to harrass any American civilian, he just puts this American into our Gov. blacklist for monitoring, and he can harass this American civilian. United States must stop this disgrace retired director from General Dynamics. Our Congress should carry out an investigation into our Gov satellite misuse, I am willing to testify in Congress. I can give White House my name and let them check if I have been wrongly put onto the blacklist of terrorists for monitoring, just for some retired director from General Dynamics for his personal amusement and entertainment.
Disabled looking ahh
In 1920 at San Remo Italy the supreme council granted the Arabs and Jews a state. The Arabs got Syria and Iraq; the Jews were granted a state in what is today Israel and Jordan. A Mandate trustee was to transfer control. In 1922 the British handed 80% of 'Palestine Mandate' to a foreign Arab named Abdullah because his brother was not make king of Syria. The 20% remaining became the State of Israel. There is no Palestine.

Great news!! Thank you Senator Stadelman for protecting us!
Get over yourselves and your unhealthy paranoia ways to output historical trauma onto others, we are not for the weaponizing of your religion with right wing neocon state merging the two for supporting radical dehumanization of a unwanted people to cheer on your mass killing campaign. You are now for the side of atrocity supporters and their propaganda and will be remembered for that.
Nice job Senator!!
Treatment wait times are ridiculous right now-we need measures like these!
I CALL BS! DEMOCRATS DON'T HAVE ANSWERS! THEY HAVE TAX PAYER FUNDED MANSIONS!
Speechless utterly speechless at this mindless act to put more strain on the small businesses and none on the big businesses and corporations that make the batteries don't forget we want more and more and more batteries every day we need everything battery powered nobody thinks before they act especially the Democratic party
If a business cannot create a method of propper disposal for their batteries then they are just adding to our planets waste crisis, and should not be in business.
If a business cannot afford to be green then they should go out of business
Dude, they need to put a bin in the store and spend like $15 to send them to a recycling place. It's not going to bankrupt anyone.
Suddenly mom & pop corner shops stop selling batteries and even more business is driven to the big boxes.
This is about manufacturing batteries not selling them. I hope that clears things up for you
This is not about retail its about assembly of batteries
No reason for them to stop. Pay attention, you morons. Literally, a 10$ can for batteries will comply with this law. Then maybe 15$ to send the batteries in the can to send them to a recycling place will. Stop with the nonsense. No small business will be harmed by this.
Illinois democrats proving they are useless.
got it, batteries in the ocean ASAP.
Then they end up in ur gut
Noo
If the consumer has to pay a fee to recycle, those fuckers are going straight in the trash!
Fuck your batteries. I want my gas to be under $3.50 a fucking gallon. I want my rent back under 2K a month. Fucking tyrants.
Can he get a bill that shuts down your pathetic liberal cult that hates america god and family?
Once again government making laws they don't have solutions to and making citizens figure it out
More regulations to go along with the inflation and theft should stimulate the economy
Id rather live in a non toxic planet, dont care about the economy if the air is poison and we eat plastic
Cool story dude. I want health care. And affordable rent. Like yeah I want the planet to be clean but I'd also like to live to see the planet be clean.
Right now they’re trying to make it illegal for companies to potentially unalive you by keeping your medical devices hostage in towed cars etc., imo a pretty needed public health safety measure
Seems like a false dichotomy
Not gonna happen as long as people support politicians who want to get involved in everything and spend money. It was all affordable just a few years ago. Then massive spending happened, with plenty more for the next few years already set in stone, so things aren't going to get better for a while. Every time the government gets involved with something it devalues the currency and puts more costs on who they're acting against... which inevitably gets to the consumer. If not for the covid relief (most of which went overseas anyway) and letting people live rent free for years the rent wouldn't have had to go up to keep people from bankruptcy.
@cbkm0 seems like the only job politicians have is to help the people starving in the streets. Seems like disposing of batteries is not going to help starving people in the streets. Maybe I just have my priorities straight, though
@Mattlott222 Things have been getting progressively worse since the sixties. The holes in the barely existent safety net have been getting bigger since they were created. Greedy people like yourself who think that the people on the bottom tier are the problem are the reason the people at the top of the pyramid get to keep hoarding their wealth without even being questioned. But maybe I just have my priorities straight.
Smart to put the onus on the businesses. If the produce it they need to have a sustainable disposable method also.
It isn't good for everyone with that horrible SAFETY ACT PASSAGE. There isn't anything SAFE about it for the over taxed citizens of Illinois!
Insurance companies are not certified doctors. They are committing fraud.
Booooo big pharma
